Jab we met!

Just my love at first sight story with my college.

I had a long five and a half hour journey before I reached the majestic building of University College of Engineering, Kariavattom. Oops quite a long name, huh!

*takes a long breath *

I took staggering steps like a centipede with 98 missing legs, behind my Mom and Dad like that timid girl whom they took to the kindergarten many years down the lane. I was amassed by the huge campus that stretched beyond what my four eyed vision could contain. I walked even slow, like slower than Flash Slothmore from Zootopia (don’t google buddy, it’s just a sloth) and tried to imprint all the tit bits I could collect in my mind.

We reached the main building, and some seniors guided us into the auditorium, where we waited, filled up forms and completed all the formalities with the elegance. I couldn’t contain my excitement, of finally being a college student. My heart literally wanted to scream my joy to the world and throw around confetti like nobody’s business.

We then met the principal, few teachers and I really liked all the vibes that my college was emitting, like I could feel that De javu, or what you call a resonance in our energies. I looked at my senior students who adorned various spots of the campus and I pictured myself in those places being that Kawaii everyday college student.

*lost in thoughts*

Midst all the Covid restrictions we completed all the procedures and walked back. I stopped for a moment, yet again, to click few more snaps of my regal college building.

We were travelling back and during the middle of my journey as I wanted to dwell into the ‘Many Lives, Many Masters‘, a realization struck me hard, that I was travelling back in just two eyes. Precisely that I lost my glasses somewhere in the college.

*cries in a corner*
